Cham Foods manufactures and distributes tomato powders and paste and is a significant player in the tomato powder global markets. Our History
Cham Foods was established 1971 as an egg processing company located in Israel. In the mid 1980’s we began processing tomatoes and other dehydrated vegetables and fruit.
With processing beginning in the United States in the late 1980’s, we evolved into the second largest egg powder manufacturer in the U.S. through our subsidiary, Primera Foods.
In 1992 Cham Foods became a publicly traded company when its shares were issued in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
We began our operation in Turkey through IPAY processing eggs in 1998.
We acquired a nutritional supplements company in Minnesota called IFP Inc. in 2000.
Egg Processing Plant in Russia will begin operating in the end of 2008.

Application of Cham Products
Cham Foods ingredients are used throughout the food industry.
Some common applications
Our egg products are used as raw materials in multiple bakery applications such as ready-to-bake products, and cake mixes. As well as production of mayonnaise, pasta, meat replacement and food blends.
The nutritional supplements we develop, manufacture and package are typically meal replacement drinks, nutritional beverages in powder form and other diet and sports nutrition powdered drinks.
Our tomato products (and other fruit and vegetable products) are used as raw materials in ready-to-consume meals such as soups, sauces, natural food coloring and seasoning for the snack foods industry.
